Here are a few pictures from Red & Black Day at Southcrest. We had a great time tailgating with the Sunday School classes, and then watching a very competetive flag football tournament! :) The boys had an absolute blast simply because they got to tackle and wrestle ALL day long.

Upward Soccer!
It is time again for some Upward Soccer! Our sweet Cayden LOVES to play soccer, and he is really gettin' good at it! We had our first game this past Saturday and he scored five goals! He was so so proud of himself. :) Daddy is one of the coaches this year, too. He does an amazing job with all the kids, and Cayden loves him being his coach. Cole is daddy's assistant, and is such a big boy cheering on big brother. He practices with them each week, but patiently sits on the sidelines during the games...he can't wait to have his turn!! Here are some fun pics from our first game.

Krispy Kreme
Cayden recently had a field trip to Krispy Kreme with his Kid's Day Out class. He loved watching the donuts being made, and especially learning how they get all those sprinkles on the donuts! :) I am so thankful to be able to tag along to all of his field trips and enjoy these special moments with him!

Playhouse Disney Live Rockin' Road Tour
The Playouse Disney Rockin' Road Tour was THE place to be on Friday night. It was a full audience of babies (most of them screaming because they were scared), toddlers (most of them screaming because of the excitement), and parents (most of them screaming...well, just because!) It was tons of fun for the boys, and well worth the fortune we spent on souvenirs, popcorn, and two $10 jugs of lemonade. Yes, they take full advantage of your wallet at events such a these. The show was much longer than I anticipated, but the boys sat through the entire show! Guest appearances by Woody, Jesse, and Buzz Lightyear was a complete surprise to the boys, and they were thrilled! Our good buddies Tiffanie & Connor, and Courtney, Lee, and princess Lydia joined us for the fun. It was a great family night for all of us! Here are some pics to enjoy...

Crazy Cole!!!
Do you dare ask what this angelic face has been up to lately?
Well, I will admit it. I did it. I was that mom that responded by saying, "Oh, my child has never..." Yup. Don't ever say it. Don't ever, ever say it...because it has a funny way of coming back and smackin' you in the face.
Here's the story... On Wednesday afternoon, the boys sat down to have a snack and watch a movie for a little bit. It had just been one of those days where they were both arguing and fighting on and off, and just real irritable with each other. I know, shocking, right?!?!?!? HA! We turned the movie on, gave each of them a snack...
...and I went into the bedroom to finish the never ending pile of laundry. I came back in the living room and saw Cole coming out of the bathroom. After many attempts at asking him what he was doing in the bathroom and him replying, "I wasnt' doing anything mommy," I realized the bottom of his nose was really red. Immediately I knew...he had stuck one of those graham cracker GRIPZ up his NOSE! Oh my gosh. I could tell he was starting to panic...and so was I. As I looked closer, I could see this huge knot in his nostril..and it was way up there! I tried to get him to blow his nose and he was not having any of it! He was screaming that it hurt really bad, he wouldn't let me near him, and refused to blow his nose! Of course I panic...again...and call Dean. He assured me that it would dissolve in a few minutes and he could blow it out...and he was right. I took a few minutes to calm myself down, and calm him down...and then he was willing to blow his nose for me. He blew it right out. YUCK! So, lesson learned. Keep your mouth shut about what your children have "never" done.
Oh yes...that's our Cole...CRAZY COLEY!!!!
